The Superfund Class 1 World Powerboat Championship is the pinnacle of powerboating. At the forefront is Britain's own Steve Curtis, 4 times World Champion and presently leading the 2003 Championship. Steve has received such honours as Southern England's Sport Personality of the Year and more recently recipient of the prestigious Segrave Trophy, placing him amongst other great British sporting hero's as Sterling Moss, Sir Donald Campbell and Sir Jackie Stewart.
